Recovery Resources for Christians

Addiction is no respecter of persons. Alcohol and drug abuse can affect anyone and any family, including of course Christian families.

The resources listed below provide mutual support groups with other Christians seeking recovery from alcohol and drug abuse and in some cases offer Christian based treatment services for some age and gender groups.

Alcoholics Victorious
Founded in 1948, Alcoholics Victorious support groups offer a safe environment for people recovering from the effects of alcoholism or drug addiction.

Alcoholics for Christ
AC is an inter-denominational Christian fellowship that ministers to Alcoholics or Substance abusers, Family members, and individual who were raised in dysfunctional families.

BETEL International
A Christian community dedicated to the rehabilitation of substance abusers in 24 countries including the USA.

Christians in Recovery
Christians in Recovery is a group of men and women who are dedicated to personal one-on-one sharing of faith, strength and hope as they live each day in recovery.

National Association for Christian Recovery
NACR is a membership organization that seeks to assist people recovering from life-dominating issues such as addiction and abuse.

No Longer Bound
A Christian, faith-based drug and alcohol program for adult males ages 18 and up in Cumming GA. Overcomers Outreach A Christ-Centered 12-Step recovery program addressing addictions and compulsions.

Overcomers Outreach
Overcomers Outreach is an international network of Christ-centered 12 Step support groups which ministers to individuals, their families and loved ones who suffer from the consequences of any addictive behavior.

Teen Challenge
Provides community-based Christian drug education, prevention and restoration programs internationally. Teen Challenge is a Christ-centered, faith-based solutions for youth, adults, and families struggling with life-controlling problems, such as addiction.
